Monopolis 2.0 represents the next phase in the development of one of Łódź’s most recognizable mixed-use urban complexes, created on the site of the historic Monopol Vodka Distillery. KARMAR acted as the General Contractor for the investment, delivering the A2 office and service building as well as the A3 building, together with the completion of the underground parking area, internal road network, technical infrastructure, landscaping and public realm elements.
The central feature of the project is the twelve-storey A2 office building, complemented by the three-storey A3 building. Both facilities were designed as modern office and commercial spaces that integrate seamlessly into the unique character of the Monopolis complex, where contemporary architecture meets Łódź’s industrial heritage.
The façades incorporate glass and corten steel, materials that reference the historic industrial architecture of the site. As a result, the modern structures blend harmoniously with their historic surroundings, reinforcing the distinctive identity of the entire development.

Modern & Efficient Solutions
KARMAR’s scope of work included the construction of reinforced concrete structures together with underground parking facilities, internal roads, access routes and comprehensive site development works.
The project was delivered with a strong focus on construction quality, workplace functionality and operational efficiency. Extensive glazing provides optimal access to daylight, while modern technical solutions support user comfort and flexible office layouts tailored to the needs of tenants.
Monopolis 2.0 is an example of contemporary office development that successfully combines advanced technologies, high environmental standards and respect for the historical context of the site. The investment plays an important role in the ongoing transformation of Monopolis into a vibrant mixed-use destination for business, culture and services in Łódź.
