The project involved the modernization and refurbishment of the existing Medical Biotechnology Science and Industrial Complex owned by MABION S.A., one of Poland’s leading biotechnology companies. The objective of the investment was to adapt the facility to new manufacturing processes and enhance its operational capabilities for the production of biopharmaceutical products.

The scope of work included the reconfiguration of the facility’s functional layout, installation of new modular partitions, suspended ceilings, flooring systems, doors and windows, as well as the adaptation of the building to the requirements of a new production line. The project also comprised the construction of dedicated areas for a new filling line and inspection equipment, together with the modernization of supporting production infrastructure.

A key element of the project was the installation of a new air handling unit, including the associated technical infrastructure, as well as the installation of new process equipment and specialist utility connections. The works also included the construction of a material airlock, process utility systems, media supply points, compressed air installations, clean steam supply points, ventilation systems and electrical installations.
