Description

PKP intercity Maintenance Workshop is the first maintenance depot for high-speed trains with rigid movable contact line systems constructed in Poland. The facility was build on two and a half hectare plot, and its total area is 12 thousand sqm. The whole facility is subdivided into maintenance & storage halls and the office building.

The depot’s hall is equipped with three maintenance tracks and two repair tracks for trains consisting of seven wagons. Additionally, the depot has its own spare parts storeroom and an automatic train washing station. Within the framework of the proejct approximately 2 km of access track with electric contact line systems were also constructed.

The PKP IC Maintenance Workshop was build under the Design & Build contract. It included preparation of a complete design decumantation and obtaining of legal permits for operation of the depot.
