Moko Botany Estate with BREEAM certificate

Implemented for Marvipol Development, the MOKO Botany residential complex in Warsaw has received a BREEAM certificate at the Very Good level. The certification also applies to the Heimstaden Boxerska project implemented within the MOKO complex. For the general investment contractor, KARMAR S. A., this is also a difference.

The stage of implementation of investments, including responsible construction management, construction waste management, high level of recovery, energy efficiency or use of materials that are resistant to environmental factors, as well as protection of materials from mechanical damage, is highly appreciated. Additional points for MOKO were awarded for monitoring water use in the building's work cycle and a very good location with access to services and public transport.

Construction phase

During the construction phase of MOKO Botany, materials and solutions that affect the energy efficiency of buildings and are favorable for the environment were used. Three-layer windows with enhanced acoustic and thermal performance, FSC-certified wood and certified wood materials. The excess amount of concrete mix was turned into openwork slabs of its own design, which were used for curing m.in. in gardens belonging to apartments, or a temporary path for residents of neighboring buildings, during construction. Vatro noted that the electricity powering the construction site came from renewable sources. Greenery, on the other hand, is irrigated with rainwater, which is collected in a storage tank designed for this purpose.

We have the ESG as standard

During construction, the Moko Botanica estate received an internal certificate from the Bouygues – Top Site group. These criteria underline our commitment to sustainable development and are in line with the #ESG goals, namely health and safety, environmental protection, quality and social responsibility. The KARMAR team received 100% implementation points in all categories.

The BREEAM International Building Certification System takes into account build quality, environmental impact, and usability. This is a guarantee that the building has been designed and manufactured to the best standards and is sustainable.

MOKO Botanika This is the third residential development that Karmar has commissioned from Marvipol Development. Previous investments were: Riviera Park on Varshavskaya Bialolenka and Apartments on Volya. Currently, two stages of the estate In Place on Montazhnikov Street are being implemented.
