KARMAR has started as a General Contractor the construction of Galeria Chełm – a joint project of Acteeum Group and Equilis Polska. The shopping center in Chełm is the first joint venture of both investors. Its total GLA is 17.500 sqm and its value is approx. 30 million. EUR. This first modern shopping center in the region will be opened in the Q1 2020.
– We are pleased that the long-awaited moment of transition from the phase of the „paper” project of Galeria Chełm to the implementation stage is just taking place. With the selection of KARMAR as a general contractor we started construction work on the implementation of the first retail project in our Polish portfolio. By implementing the project in Chełm we want to create a place that has never been in this city – meeting not only shopping needs, but also meeting the expectations of lifestyle and entertainment of customers. – explains Monika Woźniak-Zawioła, general director of Equilis in Poland.

KARMAR S.A. will implement a modern and multi-functional retail facility with a total GLA of 17.500 sqm. The plot is located at the junction of Lubelska and Rejowiecka streets (which is a part of Chełm’s beltway), in the middle of main transport hub of the city. Galeria Chełm will cover with its reach nearly 300.000 inhabitants as well as the cross-border traffic with Ukraine and Belarus. Galeria Chełm will offer 55 shops and over 550 parking spaces.

A year before the official opening, Galeria Chełm remains almost completely commercialized. Among the tenants who will open their shops in Galeria Chełm there are already known brands: Lidl, CCC, SMYK, Rossmann, RTV Euro AGD, Martes Sport, Reserved, Sinsay, House, Cropp, home & you, Divers, Pepco, Swiss, Ziaja and Bookstores Świat Książki and well-known gastronomy and service brands.
