On Friday, March 22, the cornerstone was laid for the construction of the Che\u0142m Gallery, the first shopping center in this city. The ceremony at the intersection of Lublin and Rejowieckiej Streets was attended by representatives of local governments, gallery investors - Acteeum Group and Equilis Europe SA, future tenants and other companies involved in the project implementation.<\/p>\n
The symbolic act for the construction of the Helm Gallery was signed by Jakub Banaszek, President of the City of Helm, Monika Wozniak-Zawiola, CEO of Equilis Poland, Tomasz Szewczyk and Henrik Stig Meller, Managing Partners of Acteeum Group and Joanna Makowiecka-Gatsa, Chairman of the Management Board of Karmar s. a., the general contractor of the investment.<\/p>\n

We are confident that we will create a place that will be an attractive shopping and leisure destination for Chelmians, residents of the entire region, as well as customers from neighboring Ukraine and Belarus,\u201d said Monika Wozniak \u2013 Zawiola, CEO of Equilis in Poland.<\/p>\n
The joint venture of Acteeum Group and Equilis will offer 55 retail and service premises on a total area of 17.5 thousand square meters. As part of the project, more than a kilometer-long section of Lublin Street will be reconstructed, along which a safe bicycle path will be laid. Next to the shopping center will be placed a parking lot that can accommodate more than fifty cars.<\/p>\n

The Helm Gallery will include m.in. stores: Lidl, CCC, SMYK, Rossmann, RTV Euro home appliances, Martes Sport, Reserved, Sinsay, House, Cropp, Home&You, Diverse, Pepco, Esotiq, Swiss, Ziaja, Play, as well as the World Books bookstore. Guests can enjoy a meal at Olimp and Deli Pizza restaurants, as well as take advantage of the hotel's services \u2013 m.in. laundry or eco-friendly laundry.<\/p>\n
Construction of the Helm Gallery started in full about a month ago. The opening of the center, which is being built at a cost of about 30 million euros, is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020.<\/p>\n
The architectural project of the Helm Gallery was created in the studio of NCA Architects.
