The scope of works included both the modernization of the existing laboratory and the construction of a state-of-the-art testing hall designed for specialized tire testing under controlled environmental conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The laboratory building was designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete structure founded on spread footings and strip foundations, with a monolithic beam-and-slab structural system.
