The building was designed as an interdisciplinary research centre serving students and researchers in biology, chemistry, biotechnology, computer science and environmental protection.<\/p>\n<p>The facility houses advanced laboratories dedicated to DNA synthesis and sequencing, DNA microarray production, genetic engineering of microorganisms and plants, proteomics, and DNA analysis for medical diagnostics.
